About The Event
This Reunion is going to be very, very special and full of great events and loads of fun in and around Plittersdorf, Bad Godesberg, Bonn and many other places you all remember! A Rhein Cruise up River, Dinner on the Godesburg and a cool Theme Party are just a few exciting events.

By proclamation and decree of his royal highness, Sir Clarence of the Bonn American High School on the Rhine, the 2024 Bonn Homecoming Reunion from May 23 – 26, 2024 is now open for registration. All Crusaders, family and friends are welcomed and encouraged to sign-up and join in the fun next year in Bonn!
The 2024 Reunion Committee has organized an eventful and surely memorial Reunion. We’ll be seeing old places, visiting great sites and enjoying unforgettable moments and time together. The Reunion begins with check-in on Thursday, 23 May 2024 in Hotel Motel 1 ( late check-in possible too that day ) and will end on Sunday, 26 May 2024 right after the Good-bye and Bon Voyage Brunch. The total Reunion Cost per attendee will be €350.00 ( Euros ) and does not include hotel costs. Please try to register before March 31, 2024.

23 – 26 May, 2024 Tuesday to Sunday
Rooms at Motel 1 Hotel Bonn Main Train Station ( Hauptbahnhof Bonn ) will be € 89.00 / €109.00 respectively for a single / double room per evening not including breakfast. Breakfast costs are additional €16.50 per individual. Please note room rates and availability will close on Thursday. 11 April 2024. All prices and bookings after this date will be priced at then Motel 1 prices and subject to availability. We have blocked understandably only a certain amount of rooms until that date.
Note : – as some drinks will be included in the Reunion Costs, the majority of them will be paid Out-of-Pocket by the attendee. In Germany the old “ Beer Coaster “ tab is used; that is every ordered drink marked on the coaster and payable when leaving. Only meals covered by the Reunion Costs are Get-Together, Bavarian Night, Prom Night Godesburg and Bon Voyage Brunch.
Transportation and getting to events are not covered as well. Bonn (Germany has excellent public means and great offers of transport and getting around. Please check online for offers while in Germany and Bonn. Taxis and Uber are also available. See our Important and useful information page).
Please double-check that you have medical insurance coverage when traveling abroad!
The Reunion Committee will and cannot cover any medical or other costs.

Hospitality desk
The Reunion hospitality desk at the Motel 1 Hotel Bonn ( Main Train Station – Hauptbahnhof ) will be opened for Reunion check-in and information handouts. Late check-in possible.
From 6:00 pm to 10:30 pm
Open welcoming
Get-Together with drinks and an Al a Carte dinner will be held at the L‘Osteria Restaurant in downtown Bonn. As many attendees will be arriving at different times that day, it will be a „ rolling event“. Later Reunion Check-in at L‘Osteria will be possible as well.
The restaurant is just around the corner in downtown Bonn and a few minute walk from Motel 1

Back to School
A Visit and Tour of Bonn International School ( on former BAHS site ) and Community. Is scheduled. See your old school and housing grounds in new light and visit some of the neat places of your youth.
Thereafter a free afternoon to meet old friends and/or go places you like to see again. Checkout the things to do page on the BAHS website.

Bavarian Theme Night
Bavarian Theme Night and Dinner at the Salvator Restaurant in Bonn! Also just around the corner in downtown Bonn and a very short walk from Motel 1.
Day 3

Rhine River Cruise
Between 10:00 – 11:00 am it‘s ahoy Crusaders for a return Rhine River Cruise from Bonn to enchanting Königswinter ! ( exact May 2024 schedule time pending )
Arriving in Königswinter, it’s up to the top of the Drachenfels on the rack railway train for an unforgettable view and visit of the castle remains and other historic sites. If you want to walk down the Drachenfels and see more you can, but a return ride is included.
Then it’s back to the hotel for a few hours of rest and recovery before the big night begins on the Godesburg! The BAHS Reunion Homecoming Prom!

70's theme party in the hall of knights of the Godesburg
The Prom commences at 6:00 pm with a small reception and then dinner in the main Knight’s Forum Room! Unofficially the Theme is 70’s look, so if you like get dressed up Hippie-like with flowery dresses, jeans, and/or colorful clothes or come as you want. It will be a night of fun and good times. We have booked the place until 3:00 am!
